The latest KeyScaler 5.7 release focuses on providing advanced security for IoT platforms through simplified IoT application integration. This includes extensible design for new management, policy and event driven security operations, new web socket protocols for communications with KeyScaler, and support for both Dynamic Device Key Generation (DDKG) and PKI Signature+ device authentication methods.
IoT platforms and their customers will benefit from high assurance device authentication to validate physical device identity associated with data. Both parties also benefit from network and power efficiency as web sockets reduce the bandwidth and power consumption, achieving multiple security operations over a single connection.
“Device Authority continues to work closely with IoT platform vendors to develop advanced security, ease of integration and automation to enable them to provide value to their end customers. IoT adoption slows when security is not designed in from the beginning or involve too much of manual intervention to provision and manage. We know from customer feedback that protecting device identities and their ready state when connected to an IoT platform is a significant security risk,” said Darron Antill, CEO of Device Authority.
The KeyScaler platform will be demonstrated at the Device Authority stand at PTC Forum Europe in Stuttgart, Germany on November 14th.
